Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Address patient concerns and complaints, escalating issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Stay informed about hospital services, policies, and updates to provide accurate information to patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English.
- Empathetic and patient-focused attitude, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with care.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and patient management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is an advantage.
