Responsibility
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other stakeholders to refine storylines, pacing, and visual style.
- Select and integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance emotional impact and narrative flow.
- Apply color correction, grading, and visual effects to ensure consistency and professionalism across all content.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to incorporate innovative editing styles and technologies.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Optimize videos for various platforms (social media, web, broadcast) while maintaining aspect ratios and resolution standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and revisions based on client or team input to achieve the desired final product.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to tell compelling stories through editing.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of video production workflows, including shooting, post-production, and delivery formats.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail, composition, and timing to create visually stunning and emotionally resonant content.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, or 3D editing is a plus.
- Passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for film, advertising, and digital media.
