Responsibility
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos (15-60 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop creative concepts that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
- Optimize videos for maximum retention and virality, including pacing, hooks, captions, and calls-to-action.
- Stay ahead of trends, algorithms, and platform updates to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and text overlays to enhance storytelling and viewer experience.
- Analyze performance metrics (views, engagement, shares) to refine editing strategies and improve future content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Short-Form Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your work on TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices for short-form video content.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging narratives in under 60 seconds.
- Keen eye for visual aesthetics, timing, and pacing to maximize viewer retention.
- Experience with motion graphics, text animations, and sound design is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SEO and hashtag strategies for social media is advantageous.
