Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored FCL shipment solutions.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of export-import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with local/international regulations.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure on-time and cost-effective cargo movement.
- Monitor shipment statuses, proactively resolve delays or issues, and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors, carriers, and service providers to optimize logistics costs.
- Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other export-import documentation for accuracy.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities for service improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, finance) to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in export-import logistics, freight forwarding, or corporate shipping (FCL focus preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade regulations (Indonesia-specific expertise is a plus).
- Proven track record in client relationship management and negotiating with service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex logistics challenges.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., ERP, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic industry.
