Responsibility
- Review and moderate user-generated content (videos, images, text) to ensure compliance with community guidelines.
- Identify and escalate inappropriate or harmful content for further action.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation decisions and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve content policies and workflows.
- Provide feedback to enhance automated moderation tools and processes.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in digital content and online safety.
- Handle sensitive content with professionalism and discretion.
- Contribute to training materials and best practices for content moderation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in content moderation, community management, or digital media is a plus.
- Strong understanding of online safety, community guidelines, and digital ethics.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a bonus.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and moderation tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive content.
