Responsibility
- Develop and execute a consignment strategy to optimize inventory turnover, profitability, and supplier partnerships.
- Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules for consigned goods.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to adjust strategies proactively.
- Collaborate with merchandising, buying, and store teams to align consignment offerings with customer demand and brand standards.
- Oversee logistics and inventory management for consigned products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury and high-end suppliers to secure exclusive or high-margin consignment deals.
- Implement risk management protocols to mitigate losses, damages, or discrepancies in consigned stock.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting KPIs, ROI, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, consignment operations, or supplier relations, preferably in luxury or high-end retail.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing inventory, and driving profitability in consignment models.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in sales forecasting, P&L management, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with retail ERP systems, inventory software, and CRM tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a customer-centric approach.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
