Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance framework tailored to property development and real estate operations.
- Ensure timely acquisition and renewal of all necessary permits, licenses, and clearances from government agencies (e.g., HLURB/DHSUD, LGU, DENR).
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess adherence to established company policies and statutory requirements.
- Provide expert advice to department heads on regulatory implications of new project initiatives or business processes.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and government regulatory bodies for compliance-related inquiries and inspections.
- Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards, updating internal processes to maintain continuous compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management detailing compliance status, potential risks, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or legal affairs, ideally within the property development or construction sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine real estate laws, zoning ordinances, and environmental regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with government officials and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to interpret complex legal texts and regulatory updates.
- High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and organizational precision.
- Proficiency in office productivity software and project management tools.
