Responsibility
- Monitor and manage overdue accounts to ensure timely collections and minimize financial risk.
- Contact customers via phone, email, or in-person visits to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding debts.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies tailored to individual customer circumstances.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including payment agreements, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit and customer service, to address customer concerns and improve overall account management.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all collection activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and empathetically.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, credit management, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with banking or collections software.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog) are a plus.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of local and international banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
