Responsibility
- Operate CNC cutting and routing machines to produce aluminium and steel components according to approved drawings and work orders.
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Monitor machine operations to detect and address any issues or deviations from specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production times, and quality control data.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating CNC cutting and routing machines for aluminium and steel materials.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
