Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leveraging services like Cloud Run, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Functions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security in a cloud environment.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices, proposing improvements to existing systems.
- Document technical designs, architectures, and processes for internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in software development, with a focus on cloud-native applications.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js).
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work remotely effectively.
