Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain AWS cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Respond to and resolve incidents in production environments with minimal downtime.
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripting (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to optimize cloud resources and reduce costs.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance checks.
- Perform regular system audits, logging, and performance tuning to enhance efficiency.
- Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations for knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with AWS services and emerging cloud technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud operations and Day 2 support.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in incident scenarios.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.
