Responsibility
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for nursing staff in geriatric care, elderly health management, and ILTC best practices.
- Develop curriculum and educational materials tailored to the needs of nursing homes, community healthcare, and senior care facilities.
- Conduct hands-on clinical demonstrations and workshops to enhance practical nursing skills in geriatric patient care.
- Assess and evaluate the competency and performance of nursing staff through observations, simulations, and feedback sessions.
- Collaborate with healthcare administrators to align training programs with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
- Stay updated on latest advancements in Gerontology and integrate evidence-based practices into training modules.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nurses and care staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to address patient care challenges and optimize training outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) with a specialization in Gerontology, Geriatric Nursing, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in elderly care, nursing homes, or ILTC settings, with at least 2 years in a training or supervisory role.
- Valid Nursing License (preferably with certifications in Geriatric Care or Healthcare Education).
- Proven ability to develop and implement training programs for healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in senior care and healthcare education.
- Passion for mentoring and knowledge-sharing with a patient-centered approach.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
