Responsibility
- Assist medical staff with patient intake, including recording medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary medical equipment is available and functional
- Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Provide administrative support including filing, billing, and insurance documentation
- Educate patients on basic endocrine health and treatment procedures
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and clinic protocols
- Assist with minor medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in nursing, medical assisting, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and endocrine system functions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records systems
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus
