Responsibility
- Lead and manage the civil design team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and review civil engineering designs, including site plans, grading, drainage, and utility layouts, using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit).
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil design requirements into overall project plans.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and international engineering standards (e.g., ACI, AISC).
- Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess project constraints and propose practical design solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and specifications to clients, government agencies, and internal teams.
- Mentor and train junior designers, fostering professional growth and technical expertise within the team.
- Implement sustainable design practices to minimize environmental impact and enhance project longevity.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ETABS, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of local and international civil engineering standards, including seismic and flood-resistant design principles.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or tropical climates is an advantage.
