Sinar Teknik Urus Harta Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled and reliable Civil Technician / Handyman / Plumber to join our facilities maintenance team in Putrajaya. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring that our infrastructure remains in top-tier condition through proactive maintenance and rapid-response repairs.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality workmanship. You will be responsible for a variety of building maintenance tasks, ranging from plumbing diagnostics and pipe repairs to minor civil works and general facility upkeep. Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building plumbing systems and civil structures.
- Troubleshoot and repair leaking pipes, clogged drains, faucets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Carry out minor civil and construction repairs, including wall patching, painting, and tiling as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency facility issues reported by staff or management.
- Maintain an inventory of tools and maintenance supplies, ensuring equipment is kept in good working order.
- Ensure all repairs adhere to safety standards and building regulations.
- Collaborate with the facility management team to document completed work and identify long-term maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber, Handyman, or Civil Technician in a commercial or residential setting.
- Possess a valid certificate (SKM, GiatMARA, or equivalent) in Plumbing, Civil Works, or related technical fields is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, pipe fitting, and general building repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or service manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment.
- Must be based in or willing to commute to Putrajaya.
- Hardworking, punctual, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
