Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate children’s developmental, cognitive, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each child’s unique strengths and challenges.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, play therapy, or behavioral interventions.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create a supportive ecosystem for the child.
- Monitor and document progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal development.
- Educate families and communities on child development, mental health awareness, and early intervention strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss cases and align on best practices.
- Stay updated on latest research and trends in child psychology and developmental disorders.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Child Development, or a related field (licensed or eligible for licensure).
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with children with developmental needs, such as autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities.
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools (e.g., WISC, ADOS, Vineland) and therapeutic techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with children, parents, and stakeholders.
- Experience in multicultural or international settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of special education frameworks and inclusive practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
