Responsibility
- Strategic Technology Leadership: Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap for data centre operations, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
- Infrastructure Modernization: Spearhead the adoption of cloud, edge computing, and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering and IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Security & Compliance: Oversee cybersecurity frameworks, data protection policies, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) across all data centre facilities.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive collaborative success.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Champion green data centre practices, including energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, and carbon footprint reduction.
- Budget & Resource Optimization: Allocate resources effectively, balancing innovation with fiscal responsibility to maximize ROI.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop and maintain robust contingency plans to ensure 24/7 uptime and resilience.
Qualifications
- Proven CTO/Technical Leadership: 10+ years in senior technology roles, with at least 5 years in data centre, cloud, or infrastructure leadership.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of data centre architectures (hyperscale, colocation, hybrid), networking, virtualization, and storage systems.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to translate business needs into scalable, future-proof technology solutions.
- Global Experience: Experience working in multinational environments, preferably in Asia-Pacific markets.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CISSP, AWS/Azure Architect, PMP) are a strong plus.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of IT budgeting, cost optimization, and P&L management for technology investments.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first or hybrid environment with a global team.
