Responsibility
- Assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently to patients.
- Manage and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring proper storage and stock levels.
- Process and verify prescription orders, including dosage instructions and patient information.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Prepare and label medications for distribution, adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and medication management.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on pharmaceutical best practices.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage forms.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions and inventory.
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
