Responsibility
- Assist physicians and nurses during patient examinations and medical procedures
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterilized
- Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Educate patients on treatment procedures, medications, and general health maintenance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control protocols, and clinic policies
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role
- Proficiency in basic medical procedures, patient care, and clinical documentation
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Basic computer skills, including experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality patient care
- Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Indonesia (preferred)
