Responsibility
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems 24/7 to identify and report security threats, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related hardware/software.
- Perform regular system checks, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with surveillance systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with security teams to investigate incidents and provide evidence through footage retrieval and analysis.
- Document all security events, system malfunctions, and maintenance activities in detailed logs.
- Assist in upgrading or expanding CCTV systems to meet evolving security requirements.
- Provide basic IT support for end-users, including software/hardware troubleshooting and network connectivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CCTV Technician, Security Systems Technician, or IT Support Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of analog and IP-based CCTV systems, video management software (e.g., Milestone, Hikvision, Dahua).
- Familiarity with networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and system documentation.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail for real-time monitoring.
- Certifications in CCTV installation (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA Security+) or IT-related fields are a plus.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for clear communication with stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as required.
