Responsibility
- Category Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand TikTok GO’s travel category, identifying high-potential local services and partnerships.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with travel service providers, negotiating terms and ensuring quality standards.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and user behavior to inform category decisions.
- Content & Campaign Collaboration: Work with marketing and content teams to create engaging, conversion-driven campaigns for travel services.
- Performance Optimization: Use data analytics to track KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, user engagement) and refine category performance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with product, tech, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration of travel services into the TikTok ecosystem.
- Localization & Compliance: Ensure all travel offerings comply with local regulations and cultural nuances in Bali and broader Indonesia.
- Innovation & Testing: Pilot new features, promotions, or service models to enhance user experience and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 5+ years in category management, e-commerce, or travel industry, with a track record of driving growth.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop data-backed strategies and execute them in a fast-moving environment.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong experience in vendor/partner negotiations and contract management.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics, SQL, or Tableau to derive actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams.
- Travel Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of travel trends, local service markets, and user preferences in Indonesia.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot strategies based on market feedback.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
