Responsibility
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital transactions.
- Provide friendly, professional, and prompt service to all guests, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with patience and professionalism.
- Balance cash registers at the start and end of each shift, reconciling discrepancies and reporting issues as needed.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless guest experiences, including coordinating with hosts and servers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cashier station, including receipts, menus, and promotional materials.
- Upsell additional services or products (e.g., loyalty programs, gift vouchers) when appropriate.
- Adhere to company policies, including hygiene, safety, and financial procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cashier, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume retail environment.
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications (training provided for proprietary systems).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak dining periods.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Neat, professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is advantageous.
