Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Casemix team to ensure accurate and timely classification and coding of patient data.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize reimbursement and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to Casemix and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Groups).
- Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Analyze and report on Casemix data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Casemix unit, implementing improvements as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in healthcare data management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Casemix, DRG, or healthcare data management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding standards, and reimbursement processes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in healthcare data analysis tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in Casemix or related fields is a plus.
