Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and friendly demeanor in a fast-paced café or restaurant setting.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light meals according to brand standards.
- Assist as a Runner by efficiently delivering orders, clearing tables, and supporting front-of-house operations.
- Lead as a Captain by coordinating team tasks, ensuring smooth service flow, and resolving guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (Barista, Runner, or Captain) in hospitality, cafés, or restaurants.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and teamwork mindset.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and beverage preparation (for Barista role).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Prior experience in luxury or high-end hospitality is highly advantageous.
- Certification in food hygiene or barista training is a plus.
