Responsibility
- Assist the camera team in setting up, operating, and maintaining professional video and photography equipment for shoots.
- Support pre-production tasks, including location scouting, script reviews, and shot planning.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to execute creative visual concepts aligned with project goals.
- Edit and enhance raw footage using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Manage and organize media files, ensuring efficient workflow and backup procedures.
- Assist in lighting setup, sound recording, and on-set logistics to ensure high production quality.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for innovative storytelling and visual techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new equipment, and emerging technologies in media production.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree or diploma in Film, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and video editing (experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras is a plus).
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
- Strong creative eye for composition, color, and visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as production schedules demand.
- Portfolio or samples of previous work (e.g., short films, photography, or video projects) is highly desirable.
- Passion for media, advertising, or digital content creation with a willingness to learn and adapt.
