Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end material planning, ensuring timely procurement and inventory optimization to meet production demands.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to identify cost-effective, high-quality suppliers and materials.
- Manage and strengthen supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, terms, and performance metrics to drive mutual value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, finance, engineering) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, supply risks, and cost fluctuations, proactively mitigating disruptions to the supply chain.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, leveraging data analytics and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
- Prepare and present reports and forecasts on procurement performance, costs, and supplier KPIs to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or individual contributor role.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and reducing costs without compromising quality.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and inventory management tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics, and industry-specific materials (electronics, automotive, or industrial sectors preferred).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
