Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, marketing, operations) to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity for reporting and analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Optimize and automate existing BI processes to improve scalability, performance, and user experience.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Stay updated on emerging BI trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the organizationâs data capabilities.
- Mentor and support junior team members in data analysis and BI development to foster a culture of learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik, with the ability to create visually compelling and interactive dashboards.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis, with experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing (e.g., SSIS, Talend, or similar tools) is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as Python, R, or DAX for advanced analytics and automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in the insurance, financial services, or fintech industry is highly desirable.
