Responsibility
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and IT system malfunctions in bus fleets using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform wiring, installation, and configuration of onboard systems, including lighting, communication, and entertainment systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and modifications based on technical specifications.
- Document all troubleshooting activities, repairs, and maintenance logs for quality assurance and audit purposes.
- Provide technical support and training to bus operators and maintenance staff on system operations and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive electrical and IT systems to recommend improvements.
- Ensure all work adheres to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of wiring diagrams, circuit testing, and system diagnostics for bus or heavy vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic software and tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, CAN bus analyzers).
- Familiarity with IT systems integration in vehicles (e.g., GPS, telematics, infotainment).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel to client sites or work flexible hours as needed.
