Responsibility

  • Assist the Leadman/Appraiser in monitoring and controlling branch operating expenses.
  • Process and maintain accurate records of pawnshop transactions, including loans, redemptions, and sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide professional, courteous service.
  • Prepare and organize daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash handling, receipts, and disbursements with precision and integrity.
  • Coordinate with other branch staff to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Assist in inventory management, including tracking and documenting pawned items.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative, clerical, or customer service roles, preferably in financial services or pawnshops.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and financial transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of financial or pawnshop operations is a plus.
