Responsibility
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency for the branch.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer demand to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the branch while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory turnover, identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, and implement corrective actions to minimize losses.
- Collaborate with branch managers to align procurement plans with sales targets and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, inventory metrics, and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging products to make informed buying decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail procurement, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably in the retail or consumer products industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports to drive procurement decisions.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship building.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin) are a plus.
