Responsibility
- Contact customers via phone, email, or other communication channels to discuss outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and payment arrangements in the company’s database.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex cases and ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts to minimize outstanding balances and improve collection rates.
- Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all collection activities.
- Achieve monthly collection targets and contribute to the overall success of the collections team.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in collections, customer service, or a related role, preferably in a BPO or call center environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to resolve payment issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
