Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor a team of bookkeepers to ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping.
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets, forecast expenses, and optimize financial performance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and tax filings.
- Develop and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or hotel-specific systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, financial reporting standards, and hotel accounting practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a commitment to ethical financial practices.
