Responsibility

  • Provide bilingual support (English + secondary language) to healthcare providers and patients via phone, email, and chat.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and timely reminders.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) with strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA/regional regulations.
  • Assist with medical billing, insurance verification, and claims processing.
  • Coordinate between patients, doctors, and administrative staff to streamline workflows.
  • Translate medical terminology and instructions for non-English-speaking patients.
  • Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns to the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures, protocols, and healthcare software.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and at least one other language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Tagalog, etc.).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in medical administration, customer service, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and medical terminology.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare is a plus.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work.
