Responsibility
- Provide bilingual support (English + secondary language) to healthcare providers and patients via phone, email, and chat.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and timely reminders.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA/regional regulations.
- Assist with medical billing, insurance verification, and claims processing.
- Coordinate between patients, doctors, and administrative staff to streamline workflows.
- Translate medical terminology and instructions for non-English-speaking patients.
- Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures, protocols, and healthcare software.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Tagalog, etc.).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in medical administration, customer service, or a related field.
- Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and medical terminology.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associateâs or bachelorâs degree in healthcare is a plus.
