Responsibility
- Conduct electrical testing on lithium-ion cells, including voltage, current, and resistance measurements.
- Perform performance evaluations to assess battery capacity, efficiency, and cycle life.
- Execute safety testing procedures, such as thermal runaway, short-circuit, and overcharge tests, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document and analyze test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve battery-related issues.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and laboratory guidelines to minimize risks.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in battery technology and testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in battery testing, lithium-ion technology, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, battery chemistry, and testing equipment.
- Proficiency in using laboratory tools and software for data collection and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for battery safety (e.g., UL, IEC, UN).
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
