Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks, according to brand standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and storage spaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report shortages to the management team.
- Upsell menu items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and merchandise, to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the F&B industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including brewing methods and milk frothing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business.
- A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about new trends and products in the industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in barista training are a plus.
