Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and workspace to uphold hygiene and operational standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, performing basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and report shortages to the management team.
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and efficient environment for guests, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Adhere to company policies, including health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your barista skills and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality or coffee industry.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic understanding of coffee equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, French, German) are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
