Responsibility
- Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all arrangements meet the event specifications.
- Support the Banquet Operations team in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting attendees, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Help maintain inventory of banquet supplies, including linens, tableware, and decor, and report any shortages or damages.
- Assist in arranging and decorating event spaces according to the event theme and client requirements.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service during events.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of banquet operations and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality, tourism, or related program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as event schedules require.
- Basic understanding of event setup and banquet operations is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 kg.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
