The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bancassurance, retail banking, or financial advisory, with strong relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance in the financial sector.

Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a team of bancassurance sales executives to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic bancassurance programs to maximize insurance product penetration through banking channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank branch managers, retail staff, and key stakeholders to drive product adoption.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the bancassurance space.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and local Indonesian financial authorities.
  • Design and deliver training programs for banking staff on insurance products, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns and promotional materials for bancassurance products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFP, ChFC) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bancassurance, retail banking, or financial advisory, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in financial services or insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of life, health, and general insurance products, as well as banking regulations in Malaysia and Indonesia.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and digital banking platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a customer-first mindset.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is an advantage.
