Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of bancassurance sales executives to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategic bancassurance programs to maximize insurance product penetration through banking channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bank branch managers, retail staff, and key stakeholders to drive product adoption.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the bancassurance space.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and local Indonesian financial authorities.
- Design and deliver training programs for banking staff on insurance products, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns and promotional materials for bancassurance products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFP, ChFC) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bancassurance, retail banking, or financial advisory, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in financial services or insurance.
- Strong knowledge of life, health, and general insurance products, as well as banking regulations in Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and digital banking platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a customer-first mindset.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is an advantage.
