Responsibility
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts, following Tous Les Joursā recipes and standards.
- Maintain consistent quality, portion control, and presentation for all baked goods to meet brand expectations.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients and finished products.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality to support smooth production.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and report shortages or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Assist in developing new recipes or seasonal offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Follow workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry production environment, preferably in a commercial or high-volume setting.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking for various products.
- Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and hygiene practices in a bakery setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and consistency.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required by production schedules.
- Passion for baking and a willingness to learn and grow in a professional bakery setting.
