Responsibility
- Conduct financial investigations and analyses for insolvency cases under Australian regulations.
- Prepare and review statutory reports, liquidation documents, and bankruptcy filings in compliance with AU standards.
- Collaborate with legal teams, creditors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth insolvency proceedings.
- Manage debtor and creditor communications, ensuring transparency and adherence to protocols.
- Perform asset tracing, valuation, and recovery to maximize returns for stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on Australian insolvency laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide strategic recommendations to clients on restructuring and financial recovery options.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in insolvency, forensic accounting, or financial investigations, preferably with Australian clients.
- Strong knowledge of Australian insolvency laws (Corporations Act, Bankruptcy Act) and accounting standards.
- Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with insolvency software (e.g., CaseWare, Reckon, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time-management skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
