Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform manual and automated testing (e.g., regression, integration, performance, and usability testing).
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the QA team and development teams.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman).
- Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
