Responsibility
- Assist the Terminal Manager in overseeing daily terminal operations, including product receipt, storage, and dispatch, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of terminal staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and optimize terminal logistics, including scheduling, inventory management, and coordination with transport providers to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and customer service, to align terminal operations with business objectives.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present reports on terminal performance, including KPIs, operational metrics, and financial analysis, to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in terminal operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational best practices in the energy or logistics sector.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
