Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of business technology solutions to streamline insurance processes and enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify technical requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage IT projects from inception to deployment, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and best practices to safeguard company data and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend strategic upgrades and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, business technology solutions, or a similar role within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Proven expertise in system architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection regulations, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), enterprise applications, and database management.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with fluency in English.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or AWS/Azure certifications are highly advantageous.
