Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and filing of accurate and timely tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and ensure proper documentation for tax purposes.
- Support the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Prepare tax provisions and reconcile tax accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff on tax-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Experience in a multinational or technology-driven company is an advantage.
