Responsibility
- Oversee daily site operations for bridge construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including quality control, material testing, and compliance with local and international standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on workmanship, structural integrity, and potential risks.
- Assist in reviewing and approving shop drawings, method statements, and other technical submissions.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Liaise with government authorities and clients to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent professional engineering body.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge construction, supervision, or structural engineering.
- Proven track record in managing site operations, quality assurance, and compliance for infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software for design review and analysis.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and work on a contract basis.
