Responsibility
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems to ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or deviations.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Document and analyze quality data, preparing reports for management review to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Support the preparation and execution of internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to ISO, GMP, or other relevant certifications.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Train and guide production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control within precision manufacturing, automotive, or electronics industries.
- Familiarity with QA/QC methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
- Knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is a plus.
- Proficient in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and quality software (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Japanese is advantageous but not mandatory.
