Responsibility
- Lead and optimize procurement processes for mechanical components, equipment, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, conducting negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to forecast material requirements and align procurement strategies with project timelines.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, bulk purchasing, and supplier consolidation while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and risk assessments to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and key performance metrics for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, with at least 2 years in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, materials, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a multicultural team.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international procurement regulations is highly desirable.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
