In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining MR.DIY’s commitment to quality and innovation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to execute store openings, renovations, and logistical infrastructure upgrades that drive our growth in Bali’s competitive market.

Responsibility

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets for retail construction and expansion initiatives.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure on-site execution aligns with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, financial forecasts, and post-project evaluations to senior management.
  • Liaise with local authorities in Badung to secure permits, licenses, and compliance documentation for new store developments.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services at optimal costs.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality control and adherence to MR.DIY’s brand standards.
  • Support the procurement process, including negotiating contracts and evaluating bids for project-related services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in retail construction, commercial development, or logistics infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with budgets exceeding IDR 500M.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and permitting processes in Bali.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contracts.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects (e.g., Balinese) are a plus.
