Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize material planning processes to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize excess stock while preventing shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align material requirements with demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong relationships.
- Lead material research initiatives to evaluate alternative sources, materials, or technologies that enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on material usage, inventory levels, and supply chain KPIs to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all material planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
