Responsibility
- Lead the strategic planning and development of healthcare facility layouts and equipment procurement plans to support hospital operations and expansion projects.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess equipment needs, evaluate technical specifications, and recommend high-quality, reliable medical devices and supplies.
- Monitor procurement budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to secure favorable terms and ensure a steady supply chain.
- Oversee the logistics and delivery of medical equipment, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely installation and operational readiness.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare procurement.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and recommendations for process improvements to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in healthcare procurement or a related industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale procurement projects, negotiating contracts, and building supplier relationships.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment, healthcare regulations, and procurement best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
